 Bulldog Bubbly

3 slices cucumber
1 oz  Prohibition Gin
3/4 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
3 oz sparkling wine (we suggest Creek Bend Sparkling from Oliver Winery)
1. Muddle cucumber slices
2. Add Prohibition Gin, simple syrup and fresh lime and shake well
3. Strain into a champagne flute prepared with small cucumber slice

3 Point Punch

1 part Indiana Infusions Orange Cream
1 part Blue Curacao
3 parts pineapple juice
Combine all three ingredients and serve from a pitcher over ice

Hobson was an excellent host, more than willing to talk about Heartland, its history, his vision, and, of course the products he is clearly, and deservedly, proud of. Heartland Distillers started with Indiana Vodka in 2008 and last spring came out with Prohibition Gin. Seven infused vodka flavors arrived last December.

We recently created a Meetup group on www.meetup.com.  Our goal is to have a monthly cocktail hour somewhere in the Indianapolis area.   Click on the link below to join the group.  It doesn't cost anything to join.  Most of the cocktail hours will be free to attend. 

Our first meetup is February 25th at the distillery.  Future meetups will be in restaurants, clubs, bars, taverns, museums, racetracks, and other interesting places both new and established.
